We loved the Meerkats, and stood and watched them for a while. There were two babies that fought and fought with each other. Mom would sit and watch and then break them up. It happened over and over.
I love elephants, and this is Tonka. He is the famous elephant at the zoo. He has billboards all over Knoxville.
Zebra's were fun to watch. This one was watching Nikki and it seemed like he was smiling for her. What a laugh we got outta that one.
My favorite favorite part of the day was the giraffe's. I love love them. There was a baby but he kept hiding from us.
All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed the company. I can tell you that I will not eat lunch inside the zoo again. It was expensive, cold and not that good.

I love the giraffe's too. We keep saying that we need to getto the zoo but we never make it. We go to the Feast for Beasts thing they have in August but it's more eating and entertainment. But, yeah the cafe there wasn't that great from what I remember.
