In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My Question this week: Do you decorate your home (kitchen, bathroom, etc.,) with a theme or with a certain color?
I don't really like to pick a certain theme, but in the past I have done my kitchen in Cherries, grapes, and the next will be red and white for Coca Cola.
The bathroom is usually done in two different colors depending on the season.

I don't have a theme yet, but I am waiting on my Primitive Decor to arrive to decorate with.
All of my colors are pretty neutral. Anything goes in there. I am not much into interior decorating.
I am working on decorating. We moved in to our apartment and I didn't really do anything because I knew we were going to move- but I have decided that regardless of our immanent move- I will try to decorate it. I am just going with my favorite stuff and hoping it all works together!
I have primitive patriotic in my kitchen and hall bathroom. Beach theme in the master bedroom with a neutral green on the walls and palm tree border. Jake's room is done in a Cars theme. But, that's about it. The rest if just kind of thrown together. :-)
We have a lot of color in our home. Mostly neutrals. But fortunately the house came this way and I haven't had to do much with it (yay!). I don't have any themes in my decor.
I typically decorate around a theme. Ie, the kid's bath is tropical while mine is spa. My kitchen I'm having a hard time w/ because out here we have more open living spaces & well, I'm just having a hard time! lol
I don't really have a theme, but I do choose certain colors that match.
My theme is anything washable and kid-friendly. LOL!

I am the worst at this - no... I guess the only thing that I can say I do it try to get the same kind of frames... does that count?

We have lived in our house almost 20 yrs!! Last Srping we redid some of the kitchen - got Blackish granite countertops - love them! - white Italian tile for backsplash - new counterheight kitchen table in handrubbed black - desk is black - awesome black coffee pot :)and dishwasher - A cool sisal red in natural with red bindig - So, I'm going with red and black stuff and it really looks cool!
No real theme around here. Just kind of happened the way it is and is a work in progress.
